In the Kirov region, computers and bus fares have increased in price.

      According to the Bank of Russia, in April 2026, prices in the Kirov region increased by 0.1%. The annual inflation rate was 6.4%.

      When considering food products, vegetables became cheaper in April due to warming and a reduction in producers' heating costs for greenhouses. Additionally, the price of butter decreased due to an increase in milk yields.

      Among non-food items, computers and flash drives became more expensive in April. This was influenced by the rise in memory chip prices on the global market. At the same time, prices for power tools and most household appliances decreased, aided by the strengthening of the ruble.

      In terms of services, intercity bus fares increased. This was influenced by rising costs for fuel, maintenance, and repairs of transport. At the same time, due to seasonal demand reduction, trips to several Asian countries became cheaper.
