"Uralchem" and the Government of the Kirov Region discussed issues related to the development of sports in the region.

      The participants discussed the development of social infrastructure and sports in Kirovo-Chepetsk. Special attention was given to the activities of the hockey sports school "Olympia." In particular, the possibility of building a dormitory for young hockey players was considered. Currently, 227 children aged 8 and older are training at the Kirovo-Chepetsk sports school "Olympia," including about 50 children from various districts of Kirov Oblast, as well as from other regions of the country. It is planned to reconstruct the building of a former kindergarten for the opening of the dormitory. This year, a project will be developed with funds from "Uralchem," followed by the renovation of the facility.

      The company "Uralchem" is actively involved in the processes of developing the cities where its production assets are located. Together with the region, we are creating an environment for the life and development of youth in Kirovo-Chepetsk. We pay great attention to children's and youth sports. Understanding the role of social infrastructure as a driver of long-term development, we systematically invest in projects that can improve the quality of life and social activity of residents, shaping the future of the city and the region.

      Thanks to the joint efforts of "Uralchem" with the Regional Government and Governor Alexander Sokolov, out-of-town athletes of "Olympia" will have a dormitory. Creating comfortable living and training conditions is a priority, as it directly affects the motivation, performance, and health of young hockey players. Moreover, "Olympia" has prospects for attracting talented athletes from the districts of the region and other regions of the country. I am convinced that systematic work will bear fruit and Kirovo-Chepetsk will revive its reputation as the hockey capital of the region.
