      Today, June 1, the results of the preliminary voting of "United Russia" for candidates to the Legislative Assembly of the Kirov Region have been announced. Recall that we previously wrote that State Duma Deputy Oleg Valenchuk did not plan to participate in the "preliminary voting" of United Russia as a candidate for the State Duma. The decision to run in the Nolin single-member district was likely made after his candidacy was no longer considered by the Presidential Administration for the State Duma.

      In his territorial group No. 4, Oleg Dorianovich took first place, receiving 4,624 votes from voters. Following Valenchuk is Anatoly Chepaykin, who received significantly fewer votes: 3,092 votes were cast for the chief physician of the Yaran Central District Hospital. In third place is Alexander Mashkin, chairman of the board of the "Leninets" collective farm. He received 2,889 votes.
