June 1st is International Children's Day. A holiday that in 2026 was celebrated in the Kirov region not only with congratulations but also with numbers. The regional prosecutor's office reported on its work to uphold the rights of minors since the beginning of the year.
The figures were impressive. Agency employees identified over 4,000 violations of legislation. In response, the prosecutor's office filed more than 500 protests, submitted 1,100 representations, and also sent 215 lawsuits to the courts.
The prosecutor's office emphasizes that the measures taken helped eliminate violations and restore children's rights. At the same time, work to protect the rights of minors continues.
