It is noted that citizens' appeals to the competent authorities did not lead to a resolution of the problem. In connection with this fact, investigators from the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov region have initiated a criminal case. Alexander Bastrykin instructed the acting head of the regional investigative department, Sultan Orazayev, to present a report on the preliminary and final results of the investigation, as well as on the measures being taken to restore the residents' rights to quality water supply. The execution of the instruction has been placed under control in the central office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
