A terrible accident occurred on July 7, 2025, on Splavnaya Street. The driver of a VAZ-2104 violated traffic rules, crossed into the oncoming lane, and collided with a minor cyclist. As a result of the accident, the teenager suffered a shoulder fracture. Experts classified the injury as a moderate health impairment.
By the way, the motorist had previously been held administratively liable under Article 12.24 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation. The court imposed a fine of 20,000 rubles on him. However, the issue of compensation for moral damage was not considered at that time.
The prosecutor's office appealed to the court in the interest of the teenager. The claims were satisfied: the driver was ordered to pay 300,000 rubles in compensation for moral damage. The supervisory authority clarified that during the court proceedings, the defendant voluntarily paid the legal representative of the victim 50,000 rubles.
The enforcement of the court's decision is under the control of the prosecutor's office of the Leninsky District of Kirov.
