The collector failed on Roman Erdyakov.
According to the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Vodokanal," the reason for the repairs was a request from residents about the collapse of the road surface. After an inspection, specialists determined that the arch of the sewage collector had collapsed. The cause of the accident was gas corrosion. The damaged pipeline serves the central and southwestern parts of Kirov, providing drainage for wastewater. To restore the system's functionality, the utility workers decided to replace the emergency section with a modern polypropylene double-layer corrugated pipe with a diameter of 800 millimeters. "Vodokanal" noted that this material is characterized by increased strength and a longer service life.
