Summer on the couch: almost a quarter of Kirov residents will spend their vacation at home.
This summer, 61% of working residents of Kirov are planning to take a vacation. Most often, Kirov residents plan to spend their vacation at home — this option was chosen by 23% of those surveyed. Another 8% plan to relax at their dacha or in the village. Trips within Russia are planned by 26% of respondents, while 4% plan to travel abroad.
Women more often than men choose to travel within the country — 29% versus 23%. At the same time, men are more likely to go without a summer vacation.
Among young people under 35, there are more who do not plan to take a vacation at all this summer. However, trips within Russia and relaxation at the dacha are more often chosen by Kirov residents over 35. Conversely, foreign travel is more popular among younger respondents.
It was also found that city residents with higher education are more likely to plan summer trips within the country than those with secondary vocational education.
Kirov residents with an income of 100 to 150 thousand rubles per month are the most actively planning summer vacations — 77% of them reported that they will be resting specifically in the summer. One in ten representatives of this group plans to travel abroad.
