VyatGU students entered the top ten strongest teams of the All-Russian Inclusive Spartakiad.

      For three days, 29 teams from various universities in Russia immersed themselves in the atmosphere of sports battles. Participants demonstrated their skills in disciplines such as athletics, darts, table tennis, swimming, chess, boccia, and sitting volleyball. Among the many talented athletes, the team from Vyatka State University showcased outstanding results. The individual achievements of the students allowed the university to confidently enter the top ten strongest teams of the Spartakiad, confirming the high level of training and unyielding spirit. At the solemn closing ceremony, which gathered the winners and prizewinners, VyatGU students were justly awarded prizes from the organizers and valuable gifts from sponsors. Special congratulations were deserved by: Evgeny Ryabukhin (Faculty of Electrical Engineering), who won a silver medal in a tense table tennis competition. Danil Tetyenkin (Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports), who, demonstrating brilliant play among 78 participants, was unmatched in chess and was awarded a gold medal. We are proud of the entire VyatGU team: Evgeny Bagin (FFKS), Ksenia Lyamina (PI), Veronika Norkina (FFMK), Evgeny Ryabukhin (ETF), Danil Tetyenkin (FFKS), Ulyana Shikhova (FFKS), and their inspiring leader – the head of the Department of Sports Disciplines and Adaptive Physical Culture, Oleg Bespyatykh! You have shown true team spirit, incredible willpower, and a thirst for victory, proving that nothing is impossible when there is a goal and determination!
