The federal authorities supported the conversion of boiler houses to gas and the construction of Lipatnikov Avenue.
Today, May 25, at a meeting in the government, Governor Alexander Sokolov spoke about his meeting with the Minister of Construction and Housing and Utilities of Russia Irek Faizullin. He noted that the federal official supported the initiatives that are planned to be implemented in our region.
In particular, the Ministry of Construction will allocate funds for the conversion to gas of five boiler houses in Slobodskoy. Currently, they operate on coal and fuel oil, with the highest tariff in the region. The work is promised to be carried out in 2026-2027.
In addition, the ministry will support the construction of a six-lane Lipatnikov Avenue, nearly five kilometers long. This road will lead to the site where the largest KRT (comprehensive development of territories - ed.) project is being implemented. The project is expected to be completed by September, after which the authorities will seek funding.
Moreover, the Ministry of Construction plans to support requests for the construction of additional roads to KRT sites. Thus, a road will be built from Ulyanovskaya to Moskovskaya, to a new school in Zubarevsky Forest. Reconstruction of Pesochna Street in Chistyye Prudy is also planned.
