Simakov spoke about the roads, hogweed, and the problems of the Novomakaryevsky cemetery.
The live broadcast of Vyacheslav Simakov began with congratulations to the residents of Kirov on the fifth anniversary of Kirov being awarded the title of "City of Labor Valor." After that, the head of the administration moved on to residents' questions.
One of the first topics was the Novomakaryevskoye cemetery. According to Simakov, the Novomakaryevskoye cemetery is about 60 years old, and for all this time, special ditches have been used for water drainage. This spring, as usual, utility workers began to clear them of debris; however, the situation was complicated by a trench that, as the head of the administration stated, was dug from the side of the Slobodsky district. Because of this, water from the fields began to flow onto the cemetery grounds.
So far, those responsible for digging the trench have not been found, according to Simakov. At the same time, the administration of the Slobodsky district promised to remove illegal structures and restore normal drainage.
During the broadcast, the condition of Zapovednaya Street was also discussed. Simakov reported that some developers in the area were conducting work without the necessary approvals, and the roads were created as temporary technical passages. The street is now assigned to the Directorate of Landscaping. In the near future, they plan to carry out repairs using granulate and then consider further landscaping of the area. Additionally, residents complained about problems with outdoor lighting. The head of the administration stated that the situation would be checked by "Kirovsvet."
There was also a discussion of transportation issues. Residents of the "Metrogard" residential complex complained about the difficulty of getting to the children's clinic at 36 Montazhnikov Street. In response, Simakov reminded that the route of bus No. 23 has already been extended, and in the summer, authorities plan to widen Moskovskaya Street — from "Metro" to Builders' Avenue.
Another topic was the road on Angelia Mikheeva Street. As the head of the administration noted, some residents support the construction, while gardeners oppose it. According to Simakov, various options are currently being considered, but the most likely route will pass through the gardening area. He emphasized that the project is long-term, and landowners are promised compensation at market value.
An unexpected segment of the broadcast was a sort of "advertising minute" for city projects: Simakov urged residents to vote more actively in public voting for the landscaping of areas and talked about deputies' mandates. However, many questions from Kirov residents received rather short answers without specifics due to the limited time of the broadcast.
The head of the administration also spoke about the fight against hogweed. According to him, the city uses chemical treatment and regular mowing. Simakov stated that it would take another two to three years for a complete victory over the plant. Meanwhile, in the Lenin district, the area of hogweed spread has already been reduced tenfold.
