In Kirov, it was proposed to merge the territorial administrations.

On May 21, at a meeting of the Duma commission, Deputy Alexander Nikulin raised the issue of the staffing levels of the territorial administrations of the Kirov administration. According to him, there are 53 people in the Lenin Territorial Administration, 46 in the October Territorial Administration, 38 in the May Day Territorial Administration, and 28 in the Novovyatsk Territorial Administration. At the same time, there is one worker for every 3,981, 2,782, 2,078, and 1,714 local residents, respectively, meaning the workload is distributed unevenly.

The deputy suggested taking some measures to optimize the work of the territorial administrations. One option is to merge the May Day and Novovyatsk Territorial Administrations. Moreover, according to him, there is virtually no activity in the building of the Novovyatsk Territorial Administration. "A dead kingdom," Nikulin commented on what he saw. He added that merging the territorial administrations, at least these two, would allow for a redistribution of the workload among employees and reduce accounting costs.

The head of the Kirov administration, Vyacheslav Simakov, responded that the authorities are addressing the issue of increasing the efficiency of the territorial administrations. He promised to consider all proposals.
