Rules of life by the tracks: tresspassing and gadgets on the platform are incompatible with safety.
The railway is a zone of increased danger. This is not a formality, but the basis of all safety instructions. The main rules here are strict and without exceptions: one cannot be on the tracks, cross them in unauthorized places, or engage in hooligan and thoughtless actions.
The list of the latter includes "train surfing" and climbing on the supports of the contact network. Both are associated with a risk to life — in the case of electric shock, the danger is almost instantaneous.
From May 1 to May 31, an action called "Give Way to Trains!" is taking place across the entire network of Russian Railways. Its goal is to increase the literacy of children, teenagers, and youth regarding safety issues at railway transport facilities, to prevent transport accidents, and to warn against actions that threaten train movement. In Kirov, as part of the action, an interactive lecture was held for elementary school students at School No. 59, but the main takeaway from such events is the very set of rules.
According to the statistics of the Gorky Railway, the main causes of accidents remain:
crossing railway tracks in front of an approaching train;
injury from electric shock.
A separate block of rules concerns behavior on platforms, during boarding and alighting from carriages, as well as when crossing tracks. Citizens are urged to refrain from using mobile phones and any gadgets at these moments. Vigilance in the train movement zone must be complete — distraction by a screen can be fatal.
The Gorky Railway emphasizes: preventive work to prevent injuries is carried out regularly. But the main result depends on how well the citizens themselves — both adults and children — grasp the simple but vital rules of behavior on the railway. The railway does not forgive mistakes, and adherence to the rules is the only way to preserve life and health.

Rules of life by the tracks: tresspassing and gadgets on the platform are incompatible with safety.
Crossing the tracks in front of an approaching train, climbing on the supports of the contact network, talking on the phone while boarding a carriage — each of these actions is considered a deadly risk by railway workers. In anticipation of the summer holidays, employees of the Gorky Railway once again reminded of the main rules of conduct at railway facilities, where any inattention can cost lives.
