During the meeting, the head of the region, Alexander Sokolov, announced that starting from January 1, 2026, with the launch of the "Rural Coach" program, three teachers from Kirov have moved to rural areas. They were provided with a one-time payment of one million rubles. The coaches are working in institutions in the Kotel'nich, Kumen, and Urzhum districts. By the end of 2026, three more people are expected to move to rural areas (specifically to the village of Vostochny in the Omutninsky district and the Kotel'nich district).
By 2030, the authorities plan to "relocate" dozens of coaches in this manner. To increase their numbers, they slightly modified the program's conditions. For instance, the requirement for vacancies in institutions to be available for more than six months was removed. Additionally, children's and youth sports schools were added to the list of institutions where one can be employed under the program. The list of vacancies will be approved by the Ministry of Sports.
