Branches — recycling, territories — order: the region is strengthening the system for collecting plant waste.
Residents are actively tidying up yards, public spaces, and adjacent territories, taking waste to container sites. The Minister of Environmental Protection of the Kirov Region, Timur Abashev, noted an important nuance: waste from tree and shrub pruning is not classified as municipal waste by law, and the regional operator is not obligated to remove it. "To ensure that this practice does not disrupt the overall cleanup and leave settlements buried under branches, I instructed the management of the regional operator to establish cooperation with local government bodies to develop a system for handling wood waste," commented Timur Abashev. In several districts of the region, wood waste shredders are already in use. The resulting chips are used for landscaping paths, children's and sports playgrounds, as well as for maintaining public spaces. If necessary, the region is ready to consider the possibility of allocating additional equipment. The Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Kirov Region urges residents to report cluttered areas to the Ministry of Ecology, the regional operator, or through personal messages to the relevant agencies. Monitoring of the situation continues.

Branches — recycling, territories — order: the region is strengthening the system for collecting plant waste.
In the Kirov region, the months of landscaping and sanitation of territories continue. However, in a number of municipalities, the issue of removing wood waste — branches, cuttings, and remnants after pruning trees and shrubs — has become more acute. The situation was commented on by the Ministry of Natural Resources.
