      Since the beginning of 2026, more than 870 families in the Kirov region have registered for a monthly payment for their first child at multifunctional centers. This was reported by the government.

      It is noted that the payment can be received by women who gave birth to or adopted their first child between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2026, provided they have lived in the region for at least six months before the birth/adoption of the child. Sometimes the payment is registered by the father or the sole adopter.

      The amount of the payment is calculated as the difference between a specified sum and the monthly income: up to 45,794 rubles for women under 24 years old, and up to 38,203 rubles for women aged 25 and older. The money will be paid until the child turns one year old. To apply for the payment, an application, passport, and documents for the child will be required.
