The Kirov taxi driver bought groceries for a "silovik" and transferred him money.
According to the police, the taxi driver received a ride request to the airport through an app. Soon, the client called the man and informed him that he was running late. During the conversation, an unknown person asked him to buy groceries on the way, assuring him that he would pay upon meeting. The Kirov resident fulfilled the request and arrived at the specified address. After that, the "passenger" contacted him again and asked to lend 8,000 rubles, transferring them to a phone number. The taxi driver believed the interlocutor and sent the money. However, the client never came to the car, and soon his number was blocked. A criminal case has been opened for fraud. The police remind: it is not advisable to transfer money to strangers, even if they claim to be employees of law enforcement agencies or other departments.
