In the Kirov school, they turned a blind eye to the beating of a student.
According to the office of the children's rights commissioner, a boy named Yegor has repeatedly been involved in conflicts during physical education classes. According to his mother, classmates pushed him, hit him in the face, and caused various injuries.
Moreover, as stated in the appeal, the physical education teacher witnessed the incidents but did not intervene to stop the conflicts. Furthermore, information about the incidents was not communicated to the class teacher, and the student did not receive medical assistance.
The child's parents have repeatedly approached the school principal and the department of education, but according to them, the situation did not change, and no reconciliation work was conducted with the children.
After the appeal from the children's rights commissioner, the prosecutor's office conducted an inspection. The agency identified violations of the requirements of federal laws "On the Basic Guarantees of Children's Rights in the Russian Federation" and "On Education in the Russian Federation."
As a result, a notice was issued to the head of the educational institution to eliminate the violations of legislation concerning the protection of the life and health of minors.
The children's ombudsman’s office reminded that during the educational process, the responsibility for the life and health of students lies with the school staff.
