In the Kirov region, an employer was fined for hiring a former Ministry of Internal Affairs employee without notification.
The Kirov Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office checked compliance with anti-corruption legislation in a regional budget institution focused on environmental issues. During the inspection, it was established that the institution hired a former employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Kirov. However, within the legally established timeframe, information about the conclusion of the employment contract was not sent to the former place of service of the specialist. This constitutes a violation of anti-corruption legislation. The prosecutor submitted a representation and initiated a case under Article 19.29 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation (engaging in labor activity by a former municipal or state employee who held a position included in a special list, in violation of the requirements of anti-corruption legislation). The acts of prosecutorial response were reviewed. The guilty party was fined 20,000 rubles. The identified violations have been rectified.
