The former deputy head of the Kirov region government has been found in Florida.

      Journalists from the Telegram channel "Koroche, Kirov" have drawn attention to the life of a former high-ranking official from the Kirov region, reporting that the ex-deputy head of the regional government, Olga Kuzemskaya, is now selling real estate in Florida while simultaneously participating in the "Miss Miami" beauty contest. Kuzemskaya began working in the regional government in December 2016. Prior to that, from April 2016, she held the position of deputy executive director at the State Unitary Enterprise "Main Directorate for Troop Arrangement" — a subsidiary of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Before her appointment to the Kirov region, she planned to participate in the preliminary voting of "United Russia" for the Chelyabinsk region but withdrew her candidacy. This episode earned her the unofficial nickname "Chelyabinsk Vasilieva" — analogous to a figure in the high-profile "Oboronservis" case. In 2017, Kuzemskaya was on the boards of directors of several enterprises owned by the Kirov region, including the "Pobedilovo" airport and "KirovPassengerAutoTransport." That same year, she found herself at the center of a scandal related to the improvement of an area in Kirov: her memo demanding a ban on the dissemination of information about plans to create a park near the residential complex "Scarlet Sails" caused a wide public outcry, as the official insisted that a "large-scale investment project" would be implemented at that location. Olga Kuzemskaya's departure from the Kirov regional government was linked to the gubernatorial elections in September 2017. After Igor Vasilyev's victory, his team underwent reorganization, and Kuzemskaya, along with several other deputies, left her position. Her subsequent career was short-lived and consisted of several episodes. Media reports indicated that after her resignation, she left Kirov, underwent training in Berlin under the programs of AIZhK and RANEPA, and, according to some sources, was in Crimea. In August 2018, Kuzemskaya joined the management of the Moscow futsal club "Dynamo," but in November 2021, the Arbitration Court of the Moscow District seized her property and funds as part of a certain legal proceeding. She also ran for the State Duma from the Kaliningrad region in 2018, but unsuccessfully. She was nominated by the "Russian Pensioners Party for Justice." Furthermore, after her departure, high-profile criminal cases continued in the Kirov region related to her protégés: former director of the "Kirov Regional Mortgage Corporation" Vitaly Shmakov was detained, and in 2019, the court granted a request to interrogate Olga Kuzemskaya as a witness in his case, while her former lawyer Alexander Vydrin also came under investigation. Previously, unconfirmed rumors about Kuzemskaya's fate periodically appeared in the media — for example, that she allegedly "went into hiding in the USA" or became the chief architect of the Kirov region. Now it has become clear: the former official is indeed in America, in Florida, where she has taken up selling elite real estate and is simultaneously participating in a beauty contest.
