According to the prosecutor's office of the Kirov region, a woman from November 2024 to April 2025, despite a court decision and the obligation to pay maintenance for her two daughters and son, did not transfer any money. At the same time, she was capable of working and had no valid reasons for not making the payments. During this time, her arrears in alimony amounted to almost 200,000 rubles. The court took into account that the woman had previously been held accountable for a similar crime. As a result, she was sentenced to 8 months of imprisonment with a fine of 10,000 rubles. She will serve her sentence in a settlement colony, where she will be sent under escort.
