Pensioners will have their payments recalculated — who and when can expect an increase?

      Starting from August 1, working pensioners will have their insurance pensions recalculated annually, and from October 1, military pension payments will be indexed, said Professor Yulia Finogenova from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. According to her, in August, the recalculation will affect insurance pensions, as reported by Izvestia. The amount will remain at 93.59% of the monetary allowance, taking into account additional payments, and the indexation coefficient will likely be raised to align with actual inflation. Furthermore, retired pensioners whose service period fell during the indexation freeze (2016–2024) will receive an automatic recalculation. Upon completion of their employment, the pension amount will be adjusted to account for all indexations that were not applied during their working period.
