The organizer is the missionary department of the Vyatka diocese. The run will take place with the blessing of Metropolitan Mark of Vyatka and Slobodsky. The route will connect Luza and Kirov. Participants will have to cover about 350 kilometers through Demyanovo, Pinyug, Oparino, and Murashi. The start is scheduled for 6 a.m. on May 10 at the Victory Obelisk in Luza, and the finish will be on the evening of May 11 at the "Eternal Flame" memorial on the Green Embankment in Kirov. The diocese notes that the run is dedicated not only to the memory of the Great Patriotic War but also to promoting a healthy lifestyle and patriotic education for the youth.
