The fire hazard season has started in Kirov.

      To prevent and extinguish wildfires in the region, 6,796 people and 3,021 units of equipment have been prepared. Residents and guests of the region are reminded: if a forest fire or blaze near a forest area is detected, it is necessary to immediately report the incident to the unified toll-free number of the forest protection service 8-800-100-94-00, by phone (8332) 64-34-28, or to the unified emergency assistance number 112. Violations of fire safety rules in forests entail administrative liability and fines of up to 400,000 rubles. In the event of damage exceeding 10,000 rubles, the offender may be held criminally liable and fined up to 3 million rubles. The preservation of forests from fires is part of the national project "Ecological Well-Being," initiated by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
