In honor of Radio Day, the 197-meter television tower in Kirov will be illuminated with a uniform white wash. This is provided by 36 powerful spotlights located on nine levels throughout the height of the antenna-mast structure.
The illumination will operate from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM (MSK).
The television tower is the tallest engineering structure in Kirov and a key object of the regional broadcasting network. It covers more than half of the residents of the Kirov region with its terrestrial television and radio signal.
Television towers and masts in dozens of other cities across Russia are also participating in the event.
