The Central District Military Court in Yekaterinburg has sentenced Matvey Levanov*. According to the portal "66.ru", he was found guilty of hooliganism and public justification of terrorism.
The incident occurred near the Amsterdam nightclub in Kirov. According to the court, the man insulted a woman, displayed "Azov" tattoos** on his body, shouted prohibited slogans, and raised his hand in a gesture associated with the Nazi salute. He also made negative comments about the conduct of the special military operation.
The man's actions were captured on video, which later spread in the media and social networks. After that, he was detained.
During the court proceedings, Levanov admitted guilt in one of the episodes. The court sentenced him to five years in prison to be served in a general regime colony.
Previously, the convicted individual participated in the MMA promotion Gas Fight, from which he was excluded from the sports league after the incident.
