A huge sinkhole has formed on Green Embankment in Kirov.

      The collapse occurred right at the edge of the promenade area — next to the railing. A part of the slope literally "slid" down: a deep pit formed with fallen soil, roots, and debris. The sinkhole goes deep, its edges continue to crumble, and inside a "dump" is gradually forming.

      So far, there have been no official comments on the causes of the incident.

      Let us remind you that this is not the first similar problem on the embankment. Previously, the so-called "Simakov crack" in Alexander Park received wide attention — a crack near the rotunda that was "put under control," but over the year it only increased and became part of a more serious structural failure.
