      Let us remind you that the construction of a modern swimming pool has started in the city of Slobodskoy. The contractor, the construction company "ROST," has begun earthworks on Grina Street, next to the new children's clinic. At the current stage, specialists are developing the pit and preparing the foundation for pouring the monolithic foundation slab. This stage is critically important for the durability of the hydraulic structure.

      On Thursday, April 30, Governor Alexander Sokolov visited the construction site of the future pool during a working trip to the Slobodskoy district. He noted that the new facility will not only promote mass swimming but also improve the physical fitness of schoolchildren and create conditions for sports activities.

      It should be noted that according to the project, the constructed sports facility will house a large pool 25 meters long with six lanes, as well as a small pool 10 meters long. Both adults and children will be able to swim in the pool. The pool is planned to be of the overflow type, which will ensure high water quality. The building sports complex will also include a gym for sports activities and a grandstand for 50 seats. This same contractor will also begin the renovation of the "Trud" stadium: there will be partial capital repairs of the football field and running tracks. With co-financing from regional and local budgets, the total funding for the stadium repairs will amount to about 64 million rubles.
