In 2026, some residents of the Kirov region will be able to travel on suburban trains with a discount of 50% or 100% (depending on the category). This was reported by the Ministry of Transport.
Until October 15, the discount will be provided to labor veterans, rear workers, men aged 60 and women aged 55 and older. Victims of political repression can travel on electric trains for free for a whole year.
To apply for the benefit, one must contact social protection authorities or the Multifunctional Center (MFC). Specialists will verify the data and issue a certificate.
