The Kirov region has received another contender for participation in the federal electoral campaign. Vladislav Golovin, with the call sign "Struna," has officially submitted a package of documents to participate in the party primaries.
Back in March, Governor Alexander Sokolov reported that the possibility of Golovin's participation was being discussed and expressed hope that he would accept the invitation to join the regional or federal party list. Today, this decision has been made.
"My place is where I can defend the interests of our country and our citizens. Participation in the preliminary voting is an opportunity to transfer front-line experience to legislative work," Golovin commented.
As of now, April 28, there are 21 individuals listed as participants from the Kirov region on the official preliminary voting website (pg.er.ru). Golovin's name is not among them yet — he has only submitted his documents, and the registration process will take some time.
The primaries will take place in electronic format from May 25 to May 31. Voters can register to participate in the voting until May 29.
Earlier, we reported that 21 individuals had registered for the preliminary voting of "United Russia" in the Kirov region. Among them are regional parliament deputy Boris Vesnin, SVO participant Ramil Khairulin, cultural center workers, museum employees, utility workers, as well as retirees and several municipal officials. The list has grown from 6 to 21 individuals in just a few days. Registration for participants continues until April 30.
