Every day, about 1500 calls are received by the ambulance service in the region.
As noted by the regional government, on average, the ambulance service processes about 1,500 calls daily. The annual figure reaches 400,000 requests.
It should be noted that the effectiveness of the ambulance service largely depends on its technical equipment. To date, the fleet consists of 342 vehicles of various classes. All vehicles are equipped with the necessary equipment for providing emergency assistance on-site and during transport.
Air ambulance plays a significant role in saving the lives of residents of Kirov: helicopter landing sites have been established in all districts of Kirov Oblast. There are four helicopter landing sites in the city of Kirov. In 2025, the air ambulance made 300 flights, evacuating 332 patients, including 48 children, with 56 patients transported to federal medical centers.
