In one of the municipalities, the date for the end of the heating season was announced.

      Today, April 27, a meeting was held in the government to discuss the heating season of 2025-2026. The Ministry of Energy and Housing and Utilities reported that it is in the final stage. As of today, the official end date of the season has only been announced in the Tujinsky district — May 15.

      Let us remind you that the decision to turn off heating is made by local authorities. This usually happens after the air temperature has remained at least +8 degrees for a minimum of five days.

      The ministry added that all emergencies in the region were addressed in a timely manner. There were 174 cases of heating being turned off for more than six hours — this is 9% less than in the previous season. The causes of emergencies were defects in the heating networks and boiler houses, as well as frozen pipes, sharp temperature fluctuations, and heavy snowfall.

      Authorities spent 355 million rubles on preparations for the heating season. As a result, the number of emergencies in the water supply networks was reduced by 32%, and in the heating networks by 50%.

      In 2026, a major repair of heating networks is planned in the Omutninsky and Orichevsky districts. Water supply networks will be repaired in the Nolin, Omutninsky, Orlovsky, Sanchursky districts, and Kirov. Sewerage networks will be repaired in Kirov.
