Kirov's debt reached 2.8 billion rubles.

      During the meeting of the Duma commission, it was reported that the municipal debt of the city of Kirov amounted to 2.86 billion rubles as of April 1, 2026. The costs for servicing this debt reached 86.1 million rubles. According to the head of the finance department, Gulnara Saifutdinova, this amount could have been higher by 26 million rubles; however, the authorities managed to save by early repayment of old loans and attracting more favorable new ones. Saifutdinova also spoke about the situation with the budget loan taken in 2022. Currently, documents confirming cash expenditures for 2025 in the amount of 83.5 million rubles are under review at the Ministry of Finance. The conclusion is expected by July 1. If confirmed, the budget loan will be written off for the aforementioned amount.
