It became known when the Victory Train will arrive in Kirov.
The train will depart from Nizhny Novgorod on April 24 and will travel to almost 30 stations over two weeks. In the Kirov region, the train will make stops in Vyatskiye Polyany (April 30), Kirs (May 2), Yury, Murashi, Pinyug, and Luza (May 3), as well as in Kirov and Kotelnich (May 4).
At the head of the train will be two steam locomotives of the L series, styled as armored trains from the times of the Great Patriotic War. The train will consist of platforms with military equipment, heated carriages with an exhibition, and a field kitchen. Concerts and commemorative events are planned at each station.
In Kirov, the memorial train will stop on May 4 at 13:15, and the program will last about 40 minutes.
The project is timed to the 81st anniversary of Victory.
