A 16-year-old student was "distributing" drugs in Sovietsk and Kirov.

In Kirov, a case against a 16-year-old resident of the Omutninsky district has been submitted to the court. As reported by the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov region, the minor is accused of attempting to sell drugs in large quantities — in two separate incidents.

It all began in the summer of 2025. The schoolboy came across an offer from an unknown curator in one of the messengers. Tempted, the teenager agreed to enter into a criminal conspiracy. The task turned out to be standard for many of his peers who found themselves in a similar situation: to pick up a wholesale batch of prohibited substances, package them, and "scatter" them across pre-prepared hideouts.

The route of the young dealer passed through the regional center and the city of Sovetsk. There, he managed to organize several hideouts with drugs. However, he could not stay in the shadows for long.

The key day was September 3, 2025. The teenager arrived at the address sent to him by his remote mentor to pick up a packaging kit. It was at that moment that he was detained by police officers. Law enforcement intercepted his activities literally on the verge of a new stage.

Unlike many individuals involved in similar cases, the schoolboy made contact with the investigation. He fully admitted his guilt, expressed remorse, and, according to the Investigative Committee, actively cooperated with the investigators.

At present, the investigators have gathered a comprehensive body of evidence, so the criminal case has already been sent to court for substantive consideration. The teenager faces a serious sentence — part 3 of article 30, paragraph "g" of part 4 of article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Illegal production, sale, or transfer of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or their analogs, as well as illegal sale or transfer of plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, or parts thereof containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances).
