In the center of Kirov, a crowd of young people robbed a man.

      On an early Saturday morning, around 5:00 AM, a Rosgvardiya crew patrolling the route noticed a group gathered on Spasskaya Street. The nerves of the young people couldn't withstand the gaze of the professionals: upon seeing the approaching vehicle, they attempted to hide, scattering into the alleys.

      The driver of the patrol car decided to check the spot where the group had just been. A 34-year-old man was sitting on the asphalt by the curb. His face was bloodied, and his clothes were wrinkled. The victim explained that he had been attacked a few minutes earlier: he was beaten and had a costly smartphone snatched from his pocket.

      The victim managed to notice the direction in which the assailants fled and pointed towards Nikitskaya Street — in the direction of Herzen.

      The Rosgvardiya officers quickly devised a plan of action. The vehicle combed through the yards, and in one of them, the operatives cornered the fugitive. The detained individual did not play dumb and quickly confessed to the crime. Meanwhile, a second crew was scouring the crime scene: the gadget that the criminals were after was found abandoned not far from the beating site — on the same Spasskaya Street.

      Paramedics who arrived at the scene treated the Kirov resident's wounds, but he did not require hospitalization — the man preferred to stay home. The suspect in the robbery case was handed over to the police to restore the full picture of the nighttime attack.
