The Central Bank will issue a commemorative coin "Order of Glory."
According to the regulator's website, the Order of Glory was established on November 8, 1943, and had three degrees. It was awarded to the rank-and-file and sergeant personnel of the Red Army, as well as junior lieutenants in aviation, exclusively for personal merits displayed in battles.
The silver coin issued by the Central Bank of Russia with a denomination of 3 rubles (the mass of precious metal in pure form is 31.1g, alloy standard is 925) is circular with a diameter of 39 mm. There is a raised rim around the circumference on both the obverse and reverse sides of the coin. The obverse side of the coin features a relief image of the State Emblem of the Russian Federation, with inscriptions: "Russian Federation," "Bank of Russia," the denomination of the coin "3 rubles," the year of issue "2026," the designation of the metal according to the Periodic Table of Elements by D.I. Mendeleev, the alloy standard, the trademark of the Saint Petersburg Mint, and the mass of precious metal in pure form.
On the reverse side of the coin, there is a relief and colored image of the Orders of Glory I, II, and III degrees, beneath which are relief images of the Eternal Flame at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and laurel branches, with the inscription "Order of Glory" at the top around the circumference. The side surface of the coin is ribbed.
The Central Bank reported that the mintage of the coin is 3,000 pieces. The coin is a legal means of cash payment on the territory of Russia and must be accepted at face value for all types of payments without restrictions.
