More than 11 thousand pensioners in Kirov receive additional payments for children.
According to the regional branch of the Social Fund, in 2026, such an allowance was issued to 11,455 residents of the region. This concerns pensioners who have children under 18 years old or full-time students up to 23 years old in their care.
The amount of the allowance depends on the number of dependents. This year, for one child, an additional payment of about 3,200 rubles is provided, for two — almost 6,400 rubles, and for three — more than 9,500 rubles.
It is noted that both parents can receive the allowance if they are pensioners. In some cases, recalculation occurs automatically — for example, upon the birth of a child. In other situations, such as enrolling in full-time education, it is necessary to submit an application.
The Social Fund reminded that the right to an increased payment also extends to brothers, sisters, and grandchildren if they are dependents and meet the established conditions.
