A resident of Kirov beat his friend with a gas wrench, took his phone, and fled.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the incident occurred at night on Pavla Korchagina Street. Two men were on their way to visit someone, but a conflict broke out between them along the way. At some point, one of the friends began demanding money and beat the other with a gas wrench.
After the attack, the assailant took the mobile phone from the 33-year-old victim and fled. It was later revealed that he pawned the stolen item.
Criminal investigation officers quickly identified the suspect — a 32-year-old man from Kirov with a prior conviction. The man was detained and taken to the police station.
A criminal case has been initiated under the article "robbery." Investigative actions are currently underway.
