In Malmyzh, a new school will not be built due to a lack of children.

      The administration of the Malmyzh district reviewed a request from residents that was submitted to the direct line of Governor Alexander Sokolov. People asked for a new building for school No. 2 to be constructed. However, the head of the district, Eduard Simonov, explained in his post on "VKontakte" that construction is currently not feasible. The reasons cited include low birth rates in the area, the outflow of the working-age population, and budget constraints. As for the existing school buildings: an inspection was conducted in 2024, and they were deemed suitable for educational activities. The exception is the gym, where classes are not currently held. Authorities plan to carry out repairs. Documentation is currently being prepared, and commercial proposals are being gathered for the development of project and estimate documentation for the repair of the building located at: Karl Marx Street, 7 (where the gym is located). The issue of major repairs for the building at Krasnoarmeyskaya, 76 is also being worked on. In the future, the school may be included in the federal program for major repairs. The condition of the institution, according to the administration, remains under control.
