The Tourism Development Center of the Kirov Region has reached an agreement with representatives of the united company Wildberries and Russ (RWB) to publish data about the region's tour guides on the digital platform "Marketplace of Experiences."
The platform is part of the WB Travel service. In addition to tours, airline tickets, and hotels, its section will feature offers from professional guides, tour leaders, travel companies, and organizers of tourist services, including those from the Kirov Region.
As noted by the regional government, the marketplace is a great opportunity for tour guides to promote themselves to a multimillion audience that is already accustomed to shopping online. Moreover, regional authorities are confident that this will enhance the tourism potential of the region. "Our tour guides have the opportunity to scale their business, and the region gets an additional boost for tourism development," said Alexey Cheptsov, director of the Tourism Development Center of the Kirov Region.
