The former head of the Audit Chamber, Tatyana Yagovkina, has passed away.
Tatiana Yagovkina, a well-known economist in the region who worked for more than 15 years in the system of state financial control, passed away at the age of 73.
She began her career in financial authorities and the tax inspection. From 2002 to 2005, in the early years of the regional Audit Chamber's existence, Yagovkina held the position of its chairperson. Then, for ten years, she served as the deputy chair of the Audit Chamber.
The deputies of the Legislative Assembly who approved her candidacy consistently noted Tatiana Mikhailovna's high professionalism and her ability to work with complete dedication. Among her colleagues and members of the legislative body, she enjoyed well-deserved respect—primarily due to her active participation in the budget process: from the examination of draft laws to monitoring the execution of the regional budget.
For her many years of effective work, Tatiana Yagovkina was awarded federal and regional honors, including the honorary badge of the Kirov region "For Impeccable State Service."
The Legislative Assembly and the Audit Chamber of the region emphasized that her contribution to the development of the region will not be lost, and the traditions of dedicated service will continue. Farewell to Tatiana Mikhailovna Yagovkina took place this morning at Tikhaya Street, 1.
