A straight line with elements of the "theater of the absurd"
During a live call with Governor Sokolov, which takes place on Tuesday, April 14, in addition to other traditional questions regarding the state of the roads, support measures for young specialists, large families, families of participants in the Special Military Operation, and the fighters themselves who have returned from the battlefields, questions from residents of Kirov were passed to the governor before his live communication. As one might assume, the questions coming from the residents of the Kirov region to the governor go through the press service of the regional head, which selects the most important and pressing ones.
However, some questions that were asked before the start of the live call in the MAX messenger and were likely forwarded to Governor Sokolov in advance caused confusion. The confusion was not regarding those who asked them, but concerning the press service of the regional head, which cannot be unaware of the areas of questions that fall under the governor's competence.
For example, a question was passed to Sokolov from a Kirov resident who asked why it is so dusty and dirty in the area of Nekrasov and Popov streets. In response, Sokolov instructed the deputy head of the city administration ("Vyacheslav Nikolaevich is a bit unwell," noted the governor) to look into this and arrange for cleaning. Someone sent a question to Sokolov about why bed linen is no longer provided on the train route Kirov - Luza. But the main "highlight" of this theater of absurdity, into which the live call temporarily turned, was a question from a resident of Kirovo-Chepetsk, who asked the governor how to make an appointment with a doctor at the local city clinic. By the way, at the instruction of Governor Sokolov, the regional health ministry is supposed to contact the questioner to explain the procedure for making an appointment with a doctor.
It can be assumed that by "allowing" such simple and pressing questions from Kirov residents to reach the governor, his press service was trying to demonstrate the closeness of the regional head to ordinary people. However, it seemed to us that the press service of the regional head somewhat confused the concepts of closeness and simplicity.
