On April 9, 2026, the SFR branch in the Kirov region handed over the keys to new Lada Vesta cars to six residents of the region. The vehicles are adapted for manual control—for those who, due to health reasons, cannot use standard pedals.
The program has been in place in the region for over 20 years. The car is issued for use for seven years based on the conclusion of a medical and social examination (if there are no contraindications to driving). This time, the cars went to Slobodskoy, Vyatskiye Polyany, Podosinovsky, and Kirovo-Chepetsky districts, while two remained in Kirov.
In addition to the car, the Social Fund annually allocates 3,723.32 rubles to the owners for fuel and lubricants. There is also a compensation for major repairs—up to 30% of the cost of a new similar model.
One of the recipients, Vladimir Nikolayevich from the Kirovo-Chepetsky district, said: "This car will be a real window to the world for me." According to him, after an accident, he feared that he would no longer be able to go out on his own.
Applications for special transport or related payments can be submitted through the "Gosuslugi" portal or in person at the branch's client service.
