A drunk driving enthusiast had their Mercedes taken away.

      According to the prosecutor's office of the Primorsky district, the incident occurred on July 10, 2025. A man showing signs of intoxication was driving along Lenin Street, where he was stopped by police officers. He refused to undergo a medical examination. During the check, it was revealed that the resident of Kirov had previously been held administratively liable for a similar violation. The court found him guilty under Part 1 of Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and imposed a fine of 200,000 rubles along with a two-year suspension of his driver's license. Additionally, at the request of the state prosecutor, the court confiscated the offender's car — a Mercedes-Benz — and transferred it to state ownership.
