During a meeting in the government, the head of the region, Alexander Sokolov, announced the redistribution of federal funds allocated for infrastructure development. As a result, the Kirov region received more than 58 million rubles for the major repairs of schools. Previously, it had planned to allocate this amount from its own budget. Since it will not have to allocate it now, the money has been decided to be directed to other purposes. According to Sokolov, 58 million rubles from the regional budget will be directed to the repair of 15 educational institutions, including two for orphans. They will also be used to improve infrastructure for children's recreation and health, that is, children's camps. In addition, the region will allocate another 21 million rubles for the camps.
