The former head of the Zuevskaya sports school, Vladimir Zhuykov, has passed away.
"For all these years, Vladimir Matveevich sincerely dedicated himself to his work, diligently and successfully solving a huge number of coaching and administrative tasks. He was always distinguished by a sense of responsibility, devotion to his profession, and love for sports and children," said the head of the district.
Vladimir Zhuykov was an excellent student of physical culture and sports in Russia and was part of the Kirov region team in all-around events. Over the years, he combined coaching and administrative activities, raising more than one generation of athletes.
"For all of us, this is an irreplaceable loss..." added Andrey Nikolayevich.
