The hydraulic structure of the Stolbovsky pond is being prepared for major repairs.

      Earlier, the Ministry of Ecology sent a subsidy to the budget of the Slobodsky District for the development of a project for the major repair of the hydraulic structure of the Stolbovsky Pond on the Sandalovka River in the village of Stolbovo. The majority of the funds came from the federal budget. Last year, a municipal contract was concluded. Recently, the project was developed and sent for state examination.

      Let us remind you that the volume of the Stolbovsky Pond is more than 0.5 million cubic meters, and the area is over 40 hectares. Recently, the structure of the hydraulic facility has begun to deteriorate, which is why major repairs are required.

      The project includes the restoration of the slope reinforcements of the dam and the ice protection structure, replacement of equipment (hoist and sluice), and repair of defects in the reinforced concrete structures. In addition, the contractor will clean the bottom of the pond from algae and bottom sediments.
