According to the Rosselkhoznadzor management, an unscheduled documentary inspection of a meat processing enterprise was conducted in March 2026. During the inspection, it was revealed that on February 14, a production transaction for the release of 852 kg of beef liver pancakes was registered in the "Mercury" system. However, the product composition did not include by-products — in particular, beef liver. At the same time, the raw materials listed were beef, beef fat, melange, and milk. The absence of information about the liver, as well as veterinary accompanying documents for it, does not allow for the traceability of the raw materials and confirm its safety. It is noted that the product was sold in the retail network of the Sverdlovsk region. Following the inspection, on April 1, the enterprise was held accountable under part 1 of article 10.8 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation. An administrative fine was imposed on it.
