The tragedy occurred on August 22, 2025, during work being carried out by an individual entrepreneur. As established by the inspection, the man was sawing logs and was in the danger zone of the moving saw blade. During the work process, he stood on the log carriage and began to pull the saw frame towards himself. At some point, the worker slipped and fell; however, the saw frame continued to move due to inertia. As a result, there was an amputation of his legs. According to the State Labor Inspection, the cause of the accident was serious violations. In particular, there were no technological work maps or technical documentation for the equipment. Additionally, the worker had not undergone the necessary safety training and instruction. It is noted that the investigation was conducted after a court ruling recognized the relationship between the man and the employer as labor-related.
